Shobers celebrate 50-year anniversary

BEAVERCREEK — David and Kathy Shober of Beavercreek will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Feb. 4.

David Shober earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force and retired while stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Kathy Shober is retired from her full time teaching career and was an educator for many years at both Fairborn City Schools and Dayton Christian High School.

They have three children: Steve and Diana Shober, Becky and Matt Myers, Matt and Betsy Shober. They also have six grandchildren: Kyra and Zack Shober, Justin and Luke Myers, Ethan and Aidan Shober.

The couple will celebrate with family and friends from Light of Christ Lutheran Church and where they are both active members.
