BEAVERCREEK — Books & Co. will host authors and events in November at The Greene, 4453 Walnut St.
Robert Crais, known, as “a master of crime fiction” by the Associated Press, will speak 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 to discuss his new thriller, The Promise. Line numbers will be given out beginning at 6 p.m. Please show your books&co receipt for The Promise to get a line number.
Elvis Cole and Joe Pike are working a case involving a missing mother. They follow her trail to an ordinary house in Echo Park, only to be surprised to find LAPD K-9 Officer Scott James and his patrol dog Maggie also there, but on a case racking a dangerous fugitive. The two cases intertwine in surprising ways as they come face-to-face with a man with ties to dangerous arms dealers who leave behind a savagely murdered boy and enough explosives to blow up the whole neighborhood, with them in it.
Richard Paul Evans will introduce The Mistletoe Inn, his new holiday love story 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19. Line numbers will be given out beginning at 6 p.m.
In the book, we meet Kimberly Rossetti, who has had her heart broken more times than she wants to remember, and is dreading the holidays alone, signs up for a nine-day writing conference at The Mistletoe Inn. Another reason is because a famed romance writer will be a guest speaker, and Kimberly has long had a dream to be a published romance author. Zeke, one of the conference attendees shows interest in her and her work.
Richard Paul Evans is the #1 bestselling author of The Christmas Box. Each of his more than twenty novels has been a New York Times bestseller, including his young adult Michael Vey series. Storm of Lightning, Book 5 in the series, has recently been published. Mr. Evans will sign any of his previous books.

– Free Writer’s Workshop, 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, featuring Kate Geiselman who will discuss Manuscript Formatting & Grammar because appearance matters.
– Tuesday Writers, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, discuss each other’s work.
– Classic Book Club, 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, will discuss Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John Le Carre. All groups welcome visitors and new members.
