Holiday in the park event set for next week

XENIA — Preparations are underway for Greene County Parks & Trails’ Santa’s Holiday in the Park holiday event. The Christmas event will take place from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, as well as 6-10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, and Saturday, Dec. 12, at James Ranch Park, 177 Fairground Road, Xenia.

Attendees will be able to get a picture with Santa Claus, write a letter to Santa, enjoy new LED lights and animated displays throughout the park and see live reindeer.

Several activity and hospitality stations will be scattered throughout James Ranch Park and feature such holiday favorites as: hot drinks and food, ornament-making, candle-making and roaming costumed characters.
