BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek Twp. Fire Dept. Auxiliary will be hosting it’s 3rd Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Class 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 23-24. in the Fire Station 61 Community Room Training Room, 2195 Dayton Xenia Road.

The application process is required and needs to be completed and submitted prior to the start of class. It also requires a simple background check. If you are a Beavercreek COPP, you have already met that requirement. Once you submit your application, Michele will notify you concerning who to call so you can arrange a time for your background check.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
