XENIA — Mushroom hunting is now allowed at Greene County Parks & Trails sites.
Hunting for personal use is allowed at parks sites around the county unless the area is closed due to ground conditions. Commercial harvesting will not be permitted.
Patrons are asked to follow mushroom hunting etiquette including: not removing all mushrooms at any given site to allow for regeneration, not trampling surrounding plants, respecting wildlife in the area, placing no trail or site markings, and leaving the site in its original condition.
