BEAVERCREEK — Pennelope Rucker, chief financial officer of the Beavercreek City Schools, was inducted into the Beavercreek Rotary Club Friday, Oct. 7, at the Beavercreek Golf Club.

Brian Lampton pinned her Rotary pin as a symbol of her membership.

Rucker joins the club as a representative from the Beavercreek City Schools. She was born and raised in Columbus, attending Wehrle Catholic High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Franklin University in accounting and a master’s degree in education from Ashland University.

She holds the State of Ohio School Treasurer license and is a member of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials and the Ohio School Boards Association. Rucker was the treasurer of Columbus City Schools, the largest district in Ohio, before coming to Beavercreek.

She and her husband, Tom have two children.
