BELLBROOK — The Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District will host the annual Wobble Gobble 3K Fun Run-Walk. The 3k isa no pressure event, participate on your own, as a group or with a furry friend. The park district will host the event Sackett-Wright Park on Saturday, Nov. 19.
The Park District will also have activities for the entire family to enjoy a morning in the park such as lawn games, a cheer supply station, raffles to benefit the family resource center of Bellbrook and you can explore Sugarcreek Township Fire Department’s emergency vehicles.
“This program is designed to get people outside by creating a fun and non-intimidating atmosphere for any age to just enjoy being active.” said Alison Pifer, Program Supervisor “We also really like to take the opportunity to help the local Family Resource Center that helps support so many families that find themselves in need this winter.”
Harvest Mobile Cuisine will be on location from 9-11:30 a.m. The first 50 people to pre-register will receive a $5 brunch voucher. All participants will receive a commemorative goodie bag with other fun items for participating.
Packet pickup will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the run will start at 9:30 a.m. The race mascot is of course “Mr. Turkey” who will be available for photo ops before and after the race, as he will be warming up and running with participants.
