Wandering Griffin ribbon cutting

BEAVERCREEK — Wandering Griffin Brewing Company Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening will be held 12-1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 3725 Presidential Drive. Wandering Griffin offers patrons a unique dining experience with its 1930s art deco dining room and bar, 1860s reclaimed wood taproom and coffee bar. It has extensive lunch and dinner menus and full bar service.

Township meeting

BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP — The Beavercreek Township Trustees will meet 1-4p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at the Township Building, 2195 Dayton-Xenia Road, lower level of fire station 61. BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek Planning Commission meeting will be held 7-10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at the City Building, 1368 Research Park Drive.

Polar Bear Express

BEAVERCREEK — All aboard the Polar Bear Express at the Mall at Fairfield Commons. Kids will be taken on a free train ride to the North Pole where they will be greeted by Mrs. Claus, who will be handing out cookies and hot cocoa. After the little elves enjoy tasty treats, they’ll be treated to a special story time with Mrs. Claus and have the chance to create holiday-inspired arts and crafts. As an added bonus, all kids will also get to take home a holiday story book of their choice, while supplies last 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9.

BEAVERCREEK — The City of Beavercreek Council meeting will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12 at City Hall, 1368 Research Park Drive.

Gingerbread contest

BEAVERCREEK — Test your creativity at the first ever Gingerbread House Contest 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the Mall at Fairfield Commons. Four families will go head to head to create a one-of-a-kind gingerbread house in one hour. At the end of the hour, each gingerbread house will be critiqued by local celebrity judges. The winning family will receive a $150 American Express Mall Gift Card. Spectators are welcomed to cheer on the families. Mix 107.7 will also be hosting a live radio remote at the event.

BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek Zoning Appeals meeting will be held 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the City Building, 1368 Research Park Drive.

Breakfast with the Snow Queen

Winter mini-camp

BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture Department will host a winter break mini day camp for ages 6-12 years, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 27-29, CI Beaver Hall, 3696 Highmont St. They will offer free extended hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Cost is $60, $70 for non-residents.
