BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek City council members will vote to appoint community members to fill committee vacancies for the upcoming terms. This year, even after filing many vacancies, some still remain unaccommodated.

Community that are volunteering their time for the following committees: Planning Commission: Tiffany Akers; Nicholas Loftis; Nathaniel Shrider; Board of Zoning: Brian Kruse; Johnathan Hung; Parks Recreation and Cultural Committee: Dan Tipps; Bikeway & Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Committee: Joe Godwin; Matthew Anderson; Tax Incentive Review Council Committee: Jason Scott; Environmental Advisory Committee: Lisa Boone-Berry; Jason Koemer; Javaid Iqbal; Melissa Wade- term expires 2/28/19; Collin Rust- term expires 2/28/18; Investment Committee: Sunder Bhatlia; Personnel Board Committee: Laura Davis; Daniel Archibald.

As of press time there are still opportunities for eight seats on various committees. Those include one vacancy on the Bikeway & Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Committee; one vacancy on the Environmental Advisory Committee; one vacancy on the Youth Development Committee; and five seats available on the Impact Fee Appeals Committee.
