BEAVERCREEK — The Student and Senior Pool Tournament was a success at the Beavercreek Senior Center. This event had 16 teams with one student paired with one senior on each team in this elimination tournament. The first-place team was Alex Scarlett & Emily Ott and second place was Carol DeRamus and Carman Ashman.
Beavercreek Youth Council would like to thank “Ms. Mary Hamer who arranged the event and the many necessary details with the Senior Center management staff of Mr Lee Duteil and Ms Krissi Fedkow, who we also want to thank. They always make you feel welcome. Rehab at Home on Fairfield Road for providing the food. And to Representative Rick Perales and Mayor Bob Stone for stopping by and lending their support. A special thank you of course to all the Beavercreek students and Senior “pool shooters” for their support of the event which would not have occurred without them.”
The pool tournament was lots of fun and lots of laughs.
