BEAVERCREEK — Books & Co. will welcome Lisa Boucher and Kimberla Lawson Roby. Both women will present their newest books. All upcoming events will be held at the Books & Co. at The Greene, 4453 Walnut St.

Local author Lisa Boucher will discuss her book, Raising the Bottom: Making Mindful Choices in a Drinking Culture, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27.

Boucher aims to dispel the presumption that you have to lose it all before you can accurately take stock of your life and make healthy choices. She is a recovering alcoholic who made the choice to quit drinking in her late twenties. Now a registered nurse for over 24 years. She has witnessed the negative effects of alcohol and hopes she can help others to recognize the signs and to change course.

Best-selling author Kimberla Lawson Roby will visit with Sin of a Woman, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28.

This is the latest book in her highly acclaimed Reverend Curtis Black Series. Roby has sold more than 2.7 million copies of her novels and has frequented numerous bestseller lists. Eric Jerome Dickey refers to her as “a storyteller at the top of her game.” Her books deal with very real issues, including corruption within the church, sexual abused, mental illness, and sexual harassment.
