XENIA — With over 35 years of dentistry experience, Dr. Andrew Mesaros, Greene County Public Health’s resident dentist, definitely knows his way around a set of teeth.
Dr. Mesaros started with Greene County Public Health in May of 2012 and with a professional and experienced team that includes Dental Hygienist Angie Randall and Dental Assistant Janice Gray, offers quality services in the clinic that has served the community’s dental needs for over 30 years.
The dental team in the clinic takes pride in providing compassionate care to those who may be fearful of dental services and makes every effort to make each individual client feel comfortable and relaxed. They will go out of their way to coordinate any and all referrals, coordinate treatment with other physicians, dentists, or specialists, and work closely with the client to find convenient times to schedule appointments, taking into consideration work and school schedules. Even those without dental insurance are welcome, as services are provided on a sliding fee scale.
All clients are instructed on proper oral hygiene and the dental team maintains a preventive recall program for the client to return every six months. All ages from three to 99 from any financial background are welcome to schedule an appointment for a visit. Veterans are also welcomed. Services include: exams, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatment, sealants, fillings, extractions, and dental education.
The dental team reminds all Greene County residents about the key factors for maintaining good dental health: Dental checkup and cleaning every six months, Brush twice a day, Floss daily, Eat a nutritious diet, Rinse your toothbrush thoroughly after each use, Change your toothbrush every two to three months or change your toothbrush immediately if you have been sick.
Greene County Public Health’s hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and dental services are provided by appointment only – emergencies are accepted.
