BEAVERCREEK – The Miss Beavercreek and Miss Junior Beavercreek Pageant crowned the latest local ladies to represent Beavercreek.

Beavercreek High School hosted the event on June 22 which is to promote citizenship pageant is to select young women who represent the spirit of the community and is not based on just looks, but on who will represent the City of Beavercreek in a confident and upstanding fashion.

Callista Hess was selected as Miss Junior Beavercreek. Hess has obtained outstanding academic achievement as an eighth grade student at Ankeney Middle School. She has volunteered countless hours at St. Leonard Senior Center and Heartland Nursing Facility in Beavercreek. Callista spearheaded a Build a Bear Project and was responsible for over 100 bears being made and given to children being cared for at Dayton Children’s Medical.

Taylor Connolly was crowned as Miss Beavercreek. Connolly is a sophomore at Beavercreek High School where she displays academic excellence and participates in the cheerleading program and student council events. With her cheerleading team, she volunteered at the 2015 Autism Society Dayton Walk Run. She has assisted her church, Alpha Community Church in the church building’s restoration and their Easter Egg Hunt.

Hess and Connolly will have the opportunity to participate in the 4th of July 2015 Beavercreek Parade and represent their city as Miss Jr. and Miss Beavercreek.
