Community library announces programs


BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek Community Library is planning a variety of programs for people of all ages in October. The library is located at 3618 Dayton-Xenia Road. Some programs require registration for more information or to register call 937-352-4001.

Lego Playday for ages 5-12, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Build with Legos. Registration required.

Beavercreek Friends of the Library Book Sale for adults, 12-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. Memberships are sold at the door. To donate materials prior to the sale, please be aware that the Friends do not accept magazines, textbooks, or large sets of books that are over 10 years old. VHS tapes and DVDs are accepted.

Creative Writing for Adults for adults, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29. Novelist Rebecca Kuder leads you in several creative writing exercises to help inspire your inner author. Registration required.

Preschool Story Time for ages 4-5, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29. Join Mr. Tim for stories and goofy fun.

Halloween Craftiness for ages 7-11, 4:45-5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30. Does your skeleton key need a skeleton keyring? Registration required.

Baby Story Time for ages 6-23 months with adult, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30. Join Miss Catherine for stories perfect for your wee ones.

Toddler Story Time for ages 2-3 with adult, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Join Miss Gail for stories and more.
