Hemmert makes list

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Saint Marys College announced that Margaret Hemmert of Beavercreek was named to the college’s fall semester dean’s list. St. Mary’s is located in Notre Dame, Ind.

Dean’s list

QUINCY, Ill. — Quincy University released its dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester. Honorees must earn a semester grade point average of at least 3.5 to be included in the biannual dean’s list. Alexa Low of Beavercreek received this honor.

Cherry accepted to LC

DECORAH, Iowa — Luther College has announced that Brett Cherry of Beavercreek has been accepted for admission for the 2019-20 academic year. Cherry has been awarded the Martin Luther Award.

BU Dean’s List

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University has announced the dean’s list for the undergraduate students for the fall 2018 term. Students with a GPA of 3.6 or higher are eligible for the dean’s list. Bluffton students from Greene County include Tabatha Koetter of Beavercreek.

KSU graduates

KENT — Kent State University recently conferred degrees to fall graduates during commencement exercises on Dec. 14-15 in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on the Kent Campus. The university awarded 709 associate degrees, 1544 bachelor’s degrees and 433 graduate degrees to students.

Greene County residents receiving degrees include: Martina F. Segovia of Bellbrook received a bachelor of science degree in public health. Cody M. McCoy of Dayton received a master of education.
