Caregiver training

BEAVERCREEK – When your time is consumed with looking out for loved ones, who’s taking care of the caregiver?

The Goodwill Easter Seals Adult Day Services program in Beavercreek will host Powerful Tools for Caregivers, an educational workshop presented by Kettering Health Network, with information designed to support the family caregiver and improve his or her well-being.

The two-hour class will be held Wednesdays through Nov. 30 at the Beavercreek ADS location, 2309 N. Fairfield Road. The class does not teach hands-on care or focus on disease or other conditions. To register or for more information call 937-558-3988.

Road closure

BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP — Indian Ripple Road will be closed for approximately three weeks for utility work beginning Monday, Oct. 31 according to the Greene County Engineer’s Office. The closure will be between James River Road and South Alpha Bellbrook Road. All scheduled closures are subject to weather conditions.
