The Beavercreek Community Thanksgiving Dinner awas held Nov. 24 at Beavercreek Nazarene Church located, 1850 N. Fairfield Road. This was their first community Thanksgiving Dinner and planned for 100 guests. All food was free and available to anyone in the community. The police and fire departments, members of the city council, parks department and church members were present as well as other people from the community. Sponsors of the special event included: Beavercreek Lions Club, Soin Medical Center, City of Beavercreek, Rapid Fire Pizza, GFS Foods, Moose Legion, Presto; Peace Lutheran Church, Krogers on Spinning Road and Hawker United Church of Christ.
