Juggling show
BEAVERCREEK — Comedy juggling show with Matt Jergens 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, March 31 in Macy’s Court at the Mall at Fairfield Commons, 2727 Fairfield Commons.
The Mall at Fairfield Commons and Goldfish Swim School is presenting Jergens in Macy’s Court, for a juggling show with international gold medalist juggler, Matt Jergens. He fills the stage with flying pins, spinning plates, a tall unicycle and a multitude of other unique props. Prizes will be available.
Church to host meal packing
BEAVERCREEK — Patterson Park Church in Beavercreek is hosting a meal packing event to feed orphans in Haiti from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 1 through the organization, A Child’s Hope International. For more information visit www.thechildrenarewaiting.org/portfolio/hands-against-hunger/. The goal is to raise $30,000 for this event and $25,000 has already been raised in the last four months.
Cultural connections
BEAVERCREEK — Cultural Connections is a group being organized to bring more arts to the Beavercreek community and to address artistic interests of our citizens. It is an effort to bring together the talented individuals in the areas of performing, visual and literary arts and to allow them an opportunity to display their talent in Beavercreek.
Anyone interested in promoting the arts in Beavercreek is invited to come to the first organizational/brainstorming session in May. Beavercreek Park Board member Sandy Focht can be emailed at [email protected] to share thoughts, ideas or questions concerning Cultural Connections.
