Blood drives set

BEAVERCREEK — The Community Blood Center is scouting for donors this summer, and banking on a true American legend to help boost the summer blood supply. The “Indian Scout Sixty” is descended from the historic line of America’s legendary Indian Motorcycle Company, www.indianmotorcycle.com. Enter the drawing to win the Indian Scout Sixty by registering to donate now through Sept. 2 at a CBC Donor Center. Faith Community United Methodist Church in Xenia will host a blood drive 2-6 p.m. Monday, June 12 in the community center, 100 Country Club Drive. Soin Medical Center will hold its blood drive, 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, June 14. The CBC Bloodmobile will be at 3535 Pentagon Park Boulevard.

Business networking event

BEAVERCREEK —The BNI recently joined the Beavercreek Chamber and are celebrating with a ribbon cutting and networking event at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 20. Bring business cards to share with other local professionals. The BNI is the world’s leading referral organization who works with quality business professionals. The BNI works towards building strong networks that fuel professional growth.

Senior Center day trips

BEAVERCREEK — The travel club at the Center has set up two trips and the good news is you don’t have to be a member of the Center to participate. The first trip is a day in the wilds on Wednesday, June 21. Departing the Beavercreek Center on a deluxe coach at 8:30 a.m. and returning around 7:30 p.m. Cost is $86 per person which includes taxes and driver gratuity.

The second trip is to a Cincinnati Reds Game on Wednesday, July 19 with an early dinner at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse. After dinner you will enjoy field level seats that are conveniently located as you enter on the main level. We depart the Center at 3 p.m. and return around 11 p.m. Cost is $109 per person and includes deluxe coach transportation, dinner, game tickets and driver gratuity.
