Calling All Yarn Crafters for ages adults , 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 2, 16. Bored working on your project by yourself? Beginner to advanced yarn crafters are invited to bring their own projects and supplies and hang out with other yarn lovers. Experienced crafter Vanessa Dickenson provides guidance and encouragement. Beavercreek Community Library’s Millennial Meet-Up Book Discussion for adults, 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at Cherry House Café, 1241 Meadowbridge Drive. Be a part of an informal book discussion group that meets the first Thursday of every other month, books is Nick Hornby’s High Fidelity. Registration required.

Teen Advisory Group for grades 6-12, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. Over snacks, we’ll talk about books and programs and activities and plot to take over the world. Registration required.

Be Thankful Word Art for adults, 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8. Try your hand at acrylic paints with this make-and-take project. Artist Kristen Bailey from Decoy Art Boutique will guide you along the way. Registration required.

Kindness Rocks Rock for ages 8-14, 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9. Join us to decorate Kindness rocks, then go out into the community and place them where your kindness and support can help others have a great day. The library will supply the rocks — you supply the art. Registration required.

Spirit Animals Book Club for ages 7-12, 4:45-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9. Join library staff for a snack and listen to Mr. Tim read the first few chapters of one of the books in the Spirit Animal series and then do a related craft. Registration required.

Beavercreek Community Library’s Wandering Reader for adults, 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 held at The Wandering Griffin Brewery and Pub, 3725 Presidential Drive. Twenty- and 30-somethings are invited to hang out and play trivia. Win prizes, make friends, eat, drink, and have fun. This group meets the second Thursday of each month.

Anime Club for ages 12-17, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10. Join Miss Krista for a monthly episode from a great anime series followed by anime-related games. Registration required.

Adulting 101 — Cooking without an Oven, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28. Learn how to “cook” for one without an oven. Registration required.
