What is the biggest challenge facing the state, and what would you do to help resolve it?

“Grow jobs for the private sector. Reduce burdensome taxes on businesses. That would help create new jobs and broaden the tax base of Ohio. Support legislation that would finally tackle the state debt for unemployment loans owed to the federal government. By growing the economy we can get the debt off the state’s book.”

When it comes to the state’s budget, how would you change spending priorities for services?

“Every budget is different. Would need to see what priorities from governor and state agencies propose. Something that would not grow government. Hold line on taxes and spending. Prioritize spending on critical services.”
