FAIRBORN — Eric Lynch, Peguy Ngatcha and Sam DeRoy of the Wright State men’s soccer team have been selected to the All-Tournament Team for the Hensor/Zaher Classic, which concluded on Sunday.
Lynch (Bellbrook, OH/Bellbrook), a senior forward, posted two assists in WSU’s 3-1 season-opening victory over Portland on Friday and recorded three shots in two matches.
Ngatcha (Manchester, NH/Kimball Union Academy), a senior forward, assisted on the first goal against Portland, scored the final goal of the match versus the Pilots and had three shots in two matches.
DeRoy (Powell, OH/Olentangy Liberty), a senior midfielder, scored the game-winning goal against Portland.
Wright State (1-1) travels down I-75 on Friday, September 2, for a 7:00 matchup at Cincinnati before hosting Duquesne in the home opener on Monday, September 5, at 7:00 at Alumni Field.
