BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek soccer was well-represented in the Division-I regional semifinals earlier this week.

The boys team won its fourth straight district championship, beating Cincinnati St. Xavier, 2-0, Oct. 27, while the girls team captured its first district title since 2011 with a 5-0 win over Cincinnati Oak Hills Oct. 29.

The Beavers (17-1-1) were scheduled to play Mason at Wednesday at Monroe High School. Mason was the No. 1 seed in Cincinnati.

The Beavercreek girls (15-2-3) played Springboro Tuesday at Fairmont High School. The two teams tied, 1-1, Sept. 7. Beavercreek has given up just five goals since that match.

In the boys district title match, Ryan Bernt scored with 34 minutes left, off an assist from Blaine Fourman and then Evan DeWine scored off an assist from Dominic Calabrese with 19 minutes left.
