BEAVERCREEK — Christy Ahrens has been re-elected as the Beavercreek Township fiscal officer on Nov.3.

Christy received 64 percent votes. She was running against Tiffany Novak 36 percent.

Ahrens said in her questionaire to the newspaper she plans to continue “Earning and maintaining unqualified, clean and accurate audits for the township.”

Ahrens believes she has opened the lines of communication throughout the community.

She also plans to continue to help the government and citizens who feel the economic crunch. She plans to continue to “learn to do more with less which involves working with other jurisdictions collaboratively and evaluating similar positions.”
