Dems prep for adopt a family

The Greene County Democratic Party celebrated more than 10 years of its Adopt-A-Family program Dec. 19. The program helps people in need during the holiday season. Through generous contributions, the members of GCDP were able to shower nine families who have special needs with fresh and non-perishable foods, essential toiletries, and cleaning supplies. There were also plenty of gifts for the children. Pictured with some of the items is Eileen Martin, chief organizer for the Adopt-A-Family Program.
