BEAVERCREEK — Barnes & Noble in collaboration with Disney hosted a celebration of the live-action adaptation of Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ on April 1, 2720 Towne Drive.

The event, in honor of Disney’s hugely successful live-action “Beauty and the Beast” movie featured fun activities for children including a reading of Cynthia Rylant’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ picture book, themed activities and giveaways.

After the storytime portion of the event, fans were encouraged to join in a sing-along to the beloved movie soundtrack featuring popular songs “Beauty and the Beast,” “Something There” and “Be Our Guest.”

Additionally, children had an opportunity to develop their own story ideas by creating scenes with stickers of characters from Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ or writing and drawing a book cover for their own original story.
