BEAVERCREEK — A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (CALEA) will arrive in Beavercreek Sunday, March 13 to examine the Beavercreek Police Department’s continued compliance with CALEA standards as it seeks to attain re-accreditation. The assessors will focus on areas concerning policy and procedures, management, operations and support services.

As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and community members are invited to offer comments to the assessment team at a Public Information Session 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 in Beavercreek City Council Chambers located at 1368 Research Park Drive.

Those unable to attend the session may offer their comments to the team by calling 937-320-7385 Monday, March 14 between the hours of 4-6 p.m. Comments are limited to five minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with CALEA’s standards.
