BEAVERCREEK — A team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) will arrive in Beavercreek on Monday, March 16, 2020 to examine the Beavercreek Police Department’s continued compliance with CALEA standards as it seeks to attain re-accreditation. The assessors will focus on areas concerning policy and procedures, management, operations and support services.

As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and community members are invited to offer comments to the assessment team by calling (937) 320-7385 on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 between the hours of 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Members of the public and agency employees may also make comments in person at a Public Information Session on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 4:00 PM in Beavercreek City Council Chambers, located at 1368 Research Park Drive, Beavercreek, Ohio. Telephone and in-person comments are limited to five minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with CALEA’s standards.
