Jeremiah the prophet discovered his purpose in life and worked hard to fulfill it. He was not popular and his work was destroyed, but that didn’t stop him. He was persecuted and put in prison, but he kept doing what God wanted him to do.

Jeremiah was known as the weeping prophet. Sometimes people call me that too, because I cry so easily. Don’t judge people until you know about the tears they shed. Tears are precious in God’s eyes. Tears draw people together when others see the care and compassion that they demonstrate.

God told Jeremiah to tell the people that they must turn from their wicked ways. He told Jeremiah to not be afraid of people’s anger or ridicule. He said, “I am your God, Jeremiah, and you will be rewarded for obeying my command.” Just like in those days, people don’t want to listen to what God says. He judged sin back then and He’s going to do it now, just wait and see. I don’t care if someone treats me badly persecutes me, or talks about me. I work for the Kingdom of God.

Some may say, “I know who Charlie used to be, why should I listen to him?” You don’t have to listen to me, but I once was lost and now I’m found and Jesus had His eyes on me all the time. I’ve been through the fire, the drowning waters, and the pit, just like Jeremiah. But adversity makes you stronger. If people in the Bible went through difficult times and came out on top, so can I!

Now, let me tell you, this life does not end here. So, if you do the will of the Father, you’ll be in Heaven in the end. Sounds good to me!

If I pay no attention to the gossip, negative talk, and abuse, don’t get mad at me. I’m headed to a land called Heaven. I’m just passing through this world down here. God said man became evil after sin, but I’m of another world now because of Jesus. So believe in Jesus before it’s too late.

I want to be a light in this dark world. When I look back on my life and see that I was on my way to hell, can’t you see why I talk to people like I do. I work for God now, and as long as I walk side by side with His Son Jesus, I’m safe and secure in His hands.

Satan can try anything he wants, but he’s a loser and I’m a winner! Satan knows that he has already lost the battle; he is no match for God. He hates God so much he wants to capture all of us and take us to his place of punishment. But with Christ, we are overcomers. Listen to the Bible, read it, it’s food for your soul.

The Bible says there are two roads leading out of here—one wide, one narrow. Many are on the wide road that leads to destruction. Get on the narrow road with me; it’s the way to life eternal—Heaven. When I get there, I’ll see the weeping prophet and we’ll have a lot to talk about because I’m a weeper too.

You may see yourself through someone or some situation in the Bible. So ask yourself, “Am I the good guy who obeys the Lord and conquers satan or am I following the devil to the pit of hell?” Better think it over today, because tomorrow is not promised and forever is a long time to be separtated from God and everything good. Where are you going to spend forever?
